Herbed Vegetable and Olive Pizza

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced onion

  • 1/2 cup green pepper strips

  • 1 (8 oz.) package sliced mushrooms

  • 1 (10 oz.) 12-inch thin crust prepared pizza crust

  • 1/3 cup prepared pizza sauce

  • 4 plum tomatoes, sliced

  • 1/2 cup Lindsay® Sliced Ripe Olives

  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary (optional)

  • 1-1/2 cups (6 oz.) shredded Italian blend or mozzarella cheese


Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oven to 450°F.

  2. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.

  3. Add onion; sauté 5 minutes.

  4. Add green pepper and mushrooms; sauté 5 minutes.

  5. Place pizza crust on a large baking sheet; top with pizza sauce, mushroom mixture, tomatoes, olives, basil and, if desired, rosemary.

  6. Sprinkle cheese evenly over pizza.

  7. Bake 12 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

  8. Cut into wedges to serve.
