Ingredients
1 lemon
2 ounces dry gin or vodka
1/2 ounce dry vermouth
Ice

This Lemony Gibson is a martini-lover's savory friend. Mellow cocktail onions combine with gin or vodka and dry vermouth. Lemon peel brings a bright finish. Recipe provided by Jill Silverman Hough.
1 lemon
2 ounces dry gin or vodka
1/2 ounce dry vermouth
Ice
2 Lindsay® Cocktail Onions
Use vegetable peeler to shave 4 or 5 thick pieces of zest from lemon; cut one piece in half lengthwise and set aside. Place remaining zest in cocktail shaker and add gin or vodka, vermouth, and ice; shake until well chilled. Strain into a chilled martini-style cocktail glass.
Wrap an onion in piece of reserved zest and thread onto toothpick; repeat with remaining onion and zest, adding to toothpick. Garnish cocktail with toothpick and serve.
