How to Create a Holiday Snack Bar Your Guests Will Rave About

Grazing tables and snack boards take over social media feeds during the holiday season – and for good reason! Not only are these festive spreads simple to create, but they let guests customize their plates as they pick their favorite olives, meats and other bites. And, with the right setup, they can look visually striking and serve as a buzz-worthy centerpiece at your party. Here are some of our favorite snack bar standouts:

Citrus & Rosemary Marinated Olives
There’s no need to make an extra trip to the grocery store to pick up marinated olives when you can use a few pantry staples to make your own! Simply toss Lindsay Organic Black Olives in extra virgin olive oil, garlic, rosemary, red pepper flakes and lemon juice, and you have the perfect treat that can be enjoyed alone or as a topping on baguette or toast.

Olive & Feta Bruschetta
What would a snack board be without cheese?! Gently toss Lindsay Organic Sliced Black Olives with minced rosemary, chopped dill, feta cheese, extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic and serve alongside sliced baguette.

To round out your snack board, serve up Lindsay Kalamata, Manzanilla and Queen Olives – or any of your Lindsay favorites – along with salami, prosciutto, seeded bread, baguette and little toasts. The best part? The majority of the prep work can happen the night before, so all you need to do on event day is place everything on the board and organize!

Holiday Snack Board Tips
When it comes to organizing your board, you can make the platter look more interesting by serving the olives in different sized (and colorful!) bowls, not only for organization, but to add some height and dimension to your board to make it look more visually appealing.

You’ll also want to place the larger, easier to pick up items at the back of the board – like the Marinated Olives and Olive & Feta Bruschetta – and the smaller items – like the Kalamata & Manzanilla Olives and the pepperoni – at the front, to make them easier to access.

Just remember, the process of assembling a snack board should be a fun! There is no right or wrong way to organize, and either way, your hungry guests are going to love it!

Bon Appetit and Happy Holidays!
