Warm Olives with Herbs

This quick and easy olive with herbs recipe is the perfect appetizer for entertaining. Provided by Roberta Drell, 1st Place Winner in Lindsay's Love This Recipe Contest

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 (6 oz.) can Lindsay® Naturals Black Ripe California Pitted Olives, drained

  • 1 (6 oz.) can Lindsay® Naturals Green Ripe California Pitted Olives, drained

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme

  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar or sherry vinegar

  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat until hot.

  2. Add olives, garlic and thyme sprigs; sauté 5 to 6 minutes or until heated through.

  3. Remove from heat; stir in vinegar and pepper.

  4. Serve warm or at room temperature alongside grilled chicken, fish or pork.

  5. Cover and refrigerate any leftovers for up to 1 week.
